Togeth­er with Mar­ket­ing of Moments GmbH, we are offi­cial­ly launch­ing our joint ven­ture dimedis Moments GmbH, bring­ing a fresh wave of inno­va­tion to the trade fair world.

For many years, we have been work­ing to make trade fairs more dig­i­tal, smarter, and more data-dri­ven. With dimedis Moments, we are now tak­ing the next big step: We are com­bin­ing our tech­no­log­i­cal exper­tise in dig­i­tal vis­i­tor guid­ance, dig­i­tal wayfind­ing sys­tems, and trade fair man­age­ment soft­ware with the com­merce and retail media know-how of Mar­ket­ing of Moments to cre­ate an offer­ing that has nev­er exist­ed in this form before. Den­nis Götze (Mar­ket­ing of Moments) and Geor­gi Mihov (dimedis) joint­ly form the man­age­ment team of dimedis Moments.

Trade shows have enormous untapped advertising space—both digital and physical, on-site and off-site. Off-site trade show data is particularly valuable and offers great potential for commerce media strategies. We are convinced that retail media strategies are perfectly transferable to this environment. With dimedis Moments, we are enabling brands for the first time to address trade fair visitors in a targeted and data-driven manner throughout their entire trade fair experience and to use the data for targeted targeting independently of their visit.

Our approach with dimedis Moments: From analy­sis to monetization

Analy­sis & consulting

We know from expe­ri­ence that a suc­cess­ful com­merce media strat­e­gy for trade shows does not start with tech­nol­o­gy, but with con­sult­ing. That is why we start every project with a thor­ough analy­sis. In joint work­shops, we exam­ine the exist­ing media land­scape, eval­u­ate exist­ing inven­to­ries, and pay par­tic­u­lar atten­tion to the issue of data con­sent, which is indis­pens­able as the basis for any form of dig­i­tal marketing.

Infra­struc­ture

On this basis, we cre­ate the nec­es­sary tech­ni­cal infra­struc­ture. This includes, among oth­er things, set­ting up a cus­tomer data plat­form, inte­grat­ing rel­e­vant APIs, and pro­fes­sion­al con­sent man­age­ment. We also seam­less­ly inte­grate exist­ing trade fair soft­ware and dig­i­tal touch­points such as DOOH spaces, web, and apps to cre­ate a holis­tic tech­ni­cal foundation.

Media prod­ucts

Based on this, we devel­op spe­cif­ic media prod­ucts that can be mar­ket­ed effec­tive­ly. This includes both tra­di­tion­al onsite for­mats and off­site and dig­i­tal retar­get­ing options. Our goal is to cre­ate for­mats that work across plat­forms and open up new reach for trade fair orga­niz­ers and brands.

Mon­i­tor­ing & reporting

Final­ly, we ensure sus­tain­able mon­e­ti­za­tion. We mea­sure the per­for­mance of all mea­sures, pro­vide trans­par­ent dash­boards and reports, and feed the data obtained back into the sys­tems. On this basis, we con­tin­u­ous­ly opti­mize the strat­e­gy and sup­port the expan­sion of fur­ther com­merce media potential.

By combining our technology with Marketing of Moments' retail and commerce media expertise, we are creating a completely new business model for trade fair organizers. We turn trade fairs into measurable, digital advertising channels with significant revenue potential.
