State-of-the-art access solution in use: dimedis speeds up admission to Koelnmesse trade fairs

The project kicked off in July, and by Anu­ga in Octo­ber, the new sys­tem was already run­ning at full capac­i­ty – faster, more sta­ble and more flex­i­ble than ever before.
Fifty-six new access ter­mi­nals, includ­ing 50 per­ma­nent­ly installed smart ter­mi­nals and six mobile smart gates, now ensure smooth access at the four main entrances and in spe­cial areas.

The tech­ni­cal basis: our proven Fair­Mate solu­tion, which we have seam­less­ly inte­grat­ed into the Axess hard­ware. After a suc­cess­ful tri­al run at ​‘Kind + Jugend’ in Sep­tem­ber, the sys­tem went live on sched­ule for Anu­ga and passed the endurance test with fly­ing colours.

In addi­tion to its high per­for­mance, the new admis­sion solu­tion also impress­es with its trans­paren­cy and flex­i­bil­i­ty: With the help of Fair­Mate Ana­lyt­ics, Koel­n­messe can analyse vis­i­tor flows down to the minute and con­trol them in real time. This is a deci­sive advan­tage for secu­ri­ty and event man­age­ment at the trade fair. The mobile smart gates also enable flex­i­ble use in spe­cial areas or heav­i­ly fre­quent­ed entrances with­out the need for com­plex instal­la­tions. Their suc­cess­ful use at Anu­ga 2025 impres­sive­ly demon­strates how mod­ern stan­dard hard­ware and intel­li­gent soft­ware inte­gra­tion work togeth­er. The new access solu­tion ensures an improved vis­i­tor expe­ri­ence and lays the foun­da­tion for future, even more effi­cient events.
