From smartphone to video wall for Snipes

Found­ed in Essen in 1998, Snipes now has more than 400 shops in Europe and the USA. It offers the lat­est fash­ion items from the most impor­tant streetwear brands, as well as the com­pa­ny’s own col­lec­tions and col­lab­o­ra­tions. Snipes uses our kom­pas soft­ware through­out Europe to pro­vide indi­vid­ual con­tent for the large and small screens in the stores.

Chal­lenge

In addi­tion to the clas­sic Sam­sung Tizen screens, Snipes is increas­ing­ly using LED and video walls with two, four or even six screens in dif­fer­ent con­fig­u­ra­tions in its stores across Europe. It should be pos­si­ble for store staff to eas­i­ly and indi­vid­u­al­ly con­trol all these end devices.

Result

Thanks to our sup­port, Snipes plays indi­vid­ual mes­sages at over 2,000 view­ing points in ten coun­tries. With our cen­tral book­ing ele­ment smart.select’, Snipes has the pos­si­bil­i­ty to cre­ate cen­tral chan­nels that can then be select­ed indi­vid­u­al­ly per shop and screen on site — com­plete­ly has­sle-free via smart­phone. By the way, we have also received pos­i­tive feed­back from local tech­ni­cal teams from the dif­fer­ent coun­tries, prais­ing the easy instal­la­tion of the kom­pas sys­tem that does not require any pri­or knowledge.
